About Our Day
We met through mutual friends at house parties. We were friends for a while before getting together. We’d been to a few local venues in Telford but when we went to a fayre at Albrighton Hall Hotel we just knew it was the place we wanted to get married
It was fairly formal; the centre table had a hanging flower piece and the tables were decorated with nice mirror plates, mini diamonds and burgundy and ivory balloons.
The dress was ivory with a little bit of bling and the suits were formal charcoal suits with ivory waistcoats and burgundy cravats.
Our personal touches were the home made sweet cart, home made table plan, and all the groomsmen had personalised cufflinks
The reception was really fun but I wouldn’t say anything out of the norm went on. There were plenty of drinks flowing, photos, dancing and the bride passing out on the stairs on the way to bed!
Best advise would be to not worry to much when planning. We were very last minute with everything and it still came together to be one of the best days of our lives, along with the birth of our son. Just have fun!
